Loan Calculator
Monthly payment, total interest and a full amortisation schedule for any loan. It runs entirely in your browser — no signup, no installation, and nothing you paste or drop leaves your device.
| Year | Balance at year end | Interest | Principal | Extra payment |

All figures in the currency you entered. The annual rows show the balance after the twelfth monthly payment; extra payments are charged at the end of each year.
How the Loan Calculator Works
This loan calculator works out an annuity loan (equal monthly instalments) from the numbers you enter: the loan amount, the nominal annual interest rate and either the term in years or the monthly payment you want to afford. It returns the monthly instalment using the standard annuity formula, the total interest, the total repayment and a year-by-year repayment plan that shows the outstanding balance, the interest paid and the principal repaid in each year. You can also add a yearly extra payment: the calculator then applies it to the balance at the end of each year and reports how much the term shrinks and how much interest you save. In payment mode the calculator solves for the term instead, and it warns you when a payment is too small to cover the interest. Everything runs in your browser, the currency is whatever you type, and no data is uploaded.
